Abigail Khan
High School Education Consultant

Abigail Kahn is an experienced New York City educator with eleven years of teaching in public schools, where she has worked across diverse settings including integrated co-taught (ICT) classrooms and gifted and talented programs.

She holds a Master’s degree in Education from Bank Street College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, further deepening her expertise in child development and family support.

Abigail has extensive tutoring experience with students of all ages, and she thrives in one-on-one environments where she can tailor academic and organizational support to each child’s needs. Her commitment to strong school–family communication led her to serve seven years on her school’s School Leadership Team and assume the role of union representative, where she worked closely with parents during the pandemic to advocate for safe and thoughtful reopening plans.

Her holistic, child-centered approach focuses on cultivating confidence, resilience, and joy in learning. Abigail brings the same clarity, warmth, and strategic insight to guiding families through the NYC high school admissions process, helping them understand their options and make informed, grounded decisions.
